Family Beach Holidays

Hotel Piccolo Mondo is a small service-oriented hotel, based in Abruzzo Italy, ideal for family holidays and beach vacations. Dining at Hotel Piccolo Mondo is characterized by the typical Abruzzese gastronomy including meat and fish dishes made up of genuine home-made products.

Our cook, Lidia, pepares home-cooked meals only with the freshest produce particularly nutritious for summer family vacations.  Out of season, she uses foods purchased in season from local farmers whch are then frozen and stored in our professional freezer unit at -18°C.

Our restaurant provides fresh, wholesome food from the Mediterranean diet based on – fruits, vegetables, legumes, meat and fish.  Dishes are prepared with locally-grown extra virgin olive oil which the hotel purchases from the local frantoio.  Hotel Piccolo Mondo relies on our local butcher for meat dishes which are prepared with Italian only products.  Fish comes from both the local Adriatic Sea and the Mediterranean.

For clients requiring special menus, Hotel Piccolo Mondo can provide prepare meals for food supplied by the client. Please enquire about this when booking.

Breakfast
European breakfast with Italian cakes and pastries both sweet, such as freshly-baked brioche, and non-sweets.  Non-sweet pastries include Italian biscuits and various bread rusks.  There is also a selection of cereals, fruit juices, fruit, Italian coffee, tea or Orzo (chicory), and yogurt.
